180,000

Green Actions

Fans have completed over 180,000 green actions through Planet League. That’s doing all sorts of activities which are kinder to the planet.

Some activities are about emitting less carbon dioxide than normal - like taking the bike instead of driving to the shops. Or eating a veggie dinner instead of meat.  Some are about getting into nature, because that makes us care for the planet in the longer run.  Luckily, there are quite a few activities which are good for the planet and good for us at the same time. Eating fresh, plant-based food is important for our bodies. Doesn’t mean you go vegan - but if you can cut down on meat and dairy, and eat more fresh fruit, veg, seeds and nuts, it does you good and the planet.

Footballers Taking Part

Lucas Moura starred in the No Moura Landfill activity, Jamie Carragher and Karen Carney have taken on the Layer Up challenge. West Ham players have done a veggie bake off and Port Vale’s Funso Ojo has completed over 200 activities on the platform.
